플랫어스가 몇년전 부각되기전만 해도, 창세기의 창조를 빅뱅과 연관지어 설명하는 이들도 많았지만,
세상의 기원에 대해서 의외로 사람들이 관심이 없다는 것은 놀라울 정도이다.
성경에 창세기 구절에 기반해서, 지금 우리가 사는 세상의 세계창조의 의미에 대해 짚어보자!
현재 존재하는 번역본을 보면서 안타까운것이, 히브리 원전이나 KJV 영문에 들어가는 접속사등이 너무 임의적으로 생략되었고, 복수명사적 성격이 가미된 엘로힘은 우리나라말로 달리 치환되기 어려운 단어이기 때문에, 엘로힘으로 번역하고 Lord는 주라고 번역해야 하나, Lord의 단어등을 여호와라는 고유명사로 대체하고, 너무 임의적이고 추정적인 의역들이 많다는 점이다.
사람들이 추천하는 일부 킹제임스를 살펴보니, 이것은 특정교파에서 추구하는 후세의 인위적 신학박사들의 이론들이 지면 하단도 아니고, 본문 사이에 끼어들어가 있어, 성경을 특정한 관점에서만 보도록 유도하고, 개개인이 숙고할 여유를 없게하여 필자는 좋아하지 않는 편집들이다.
그것이 필자가 성경책을 구매할때, 모든 국내 버전을 다 살펴보면서 창세기 파트를 비교해보고, 아무 주석이 안들어가고 본문만 들어가고, 투박해도 최대한 직역에 가깝게끔 번역한, 서달석 한영대조본을 산 이유이다.
그러나 말했듯, 이조차도 들어가야할 접속사가 인위적으로 생략되고, 인위적 번역들이 보인다.
성경 버전 사이트의 알력다툼이나, 성별을 제멋대로 파괴한 버전에 대해서도 말한바가 있으며,
요한계시록에서 중요한 짐승의 표가 통째로 누락된 개혁한글본의 큰 실수에 대해서도 짚었던바가 있는 것이다.

=> 이런 하찮은 번역 누락의 차이로 인해서, 많은 이들이 현실의 음모론에 대해서 무관심하거나 회의적이게 만드는 것이다.
필자가 보는 오늘날 국내 성경번역의 완벽성은 퍼센테이지를 부과한다면 70~80%정도밖에 완전하지 않다!
스스로의 지혜를 맹신한 탓인지? 지나칠 정도로 번역자 개개인의 임의적 사견이 반영된 번역등이 많기 때문이고, 원문의 뉘앙스를 너무 많이 잃어버렸기 때문이다!!
사실 성경의 번역은 한자와는 거리가 멀기 때문에, 책성경에서 실제적으로 한자가 많이 들어가나, 그보다는 히브리어나, KJV의 영단어들이 드문드문 단어에 들어갔더라면 더 좋았을 것이다.
알기 어려운 영단어인 The Firmiment가 무엇인지, 히브리어로 대략 뭐라고 불리는지 정도는 아는게 좋지 않을까!!? 궁창옆에 괄호열고, 표기만 했었어도 유튜브시대 영어권 이런 용어들이 나오는 외국 영상등을 보면서도 이해가 빠를 것이다.)
이것은 유태인들이 원전인 토라를 볼때와 우리나라 사람들이 영문번역을 거친 한글번역을 거친 성경을 볼때, 그 느낌이나 이해가 상당히 다를수가 있다는 것을 시사한다!
가장 중요한 1~3장의 구절을 직역에 가깝게 번역을 하여 소개해본다.

[찰리역]Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

[찰리역]And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

[찰리역]Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

[찰리역]So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
